借電話

一個平凡的早上,在路上邊走邊看iPhone的我如常上班,紅綠燈前,右側傳來微弱的聲音:
「我想借電話。」
仍然專著地看蘋果要聞,那微弱聲音再説道:
「我想借電話。」
視角向右下方傾斜30度,看見小男孩一名,七到八歲,穿體育校服,胸前寫著“Ho Yu Primary School”,我家附近的學校,背著書包,左手塑膠袋内有皮球,右手另些東西沒看清楚,眉頭鎖緊,一臉焦慮。
「我想借你個電話打。」
以前跟人家借電話乃平常事,類似的還有公衆電話亭打電話,或者是在巴士站跟前後乘客換零錢,如今都變得很odd。
第一時間知道要給人方便,於是我按下iPhone的Home鍵,把電話交給男孩,但就在刹那間腦海浮現警訊畫面,頭頂亮起救護車的紅色旋轉警示燈,我進入高度戒備。
男孩似乎不太熟悉iPhone鍵盤,打錯號碼想修正卻不知道如何回鍵,我主動幫他刪掉原來的,重新再入。
同一時間腦中意識流繼續,萬一男童立刻拔足奔跑,我追得上他嗎?萬一男童原來在hack我的手機,我該如何防範?萬一手機真的沒掉我的total loss是多少?BTW 我有沒有在iTunes做備份呢?防人之心不可無,萬一萬一萬一 ......
我發現我的心好黑,稚小童vs僞君子,我鄙視自己。
「我今朝遲到啊。」聲音仍然微弱,帶點無助,很純真。邊說邊接通了電話,但又立刻想掛斷,但他沒按紅鍵。
我嘗試幫他,但卻目不轉睛地盯緊他,難道他要行動要逃跑?紅色警示燈猛烈旋轉。
「她來了,她來了!」男童忽然變得異常雀躍,指向馬路對面。
「來了,來了,帶藍色帽子的那個!她是 ~~ 」
我看見遠方有個中年婦人頭戴藍帽,慢慢朝向馬路邊走過來,可能是他的媽媽或者阿姨之類,我沒聽清楚。
男孩把手機還我,我問他「還有什麽我能幫上?」
他搖頭,很大很大的笑容,眼睛眯起來變得很小。
「那我走了。」說完把手機放進口袋,繼續上班的路,走了幾步我回頭看,男孩牽著婦人的手逐漸遠去。
頭頂的警示燈消失了,我為自己的虛僞感到羞恥,而小男孩的笑容卻在腦子裏不斷放大,忽而慨嘆,這四年來同樣的路上,有哪幾天是帶著這種燦爛笑容上班的呢?純真的快樂感覺離自己很遠很遠,搖搖頭,嘆一口氣,把iPhone拿出來,繼續邊走邊看 ......
